We Stopped at Some of Rhode Island’s Most Popular Foodie Spots

Made pit stops at Warwick, Providence, and New Port for the good good. I wrote them based on location of the restaurants and a way for you to drive around and still be able to stop at each from the Providence airport to New Port. Quite the road trip!

Before I keep rambling on about location, here’s the restaurants and ALL my thoughts:

Iron Works

Specifically for the drink, not a fan. I acted like I was a fan because I love when I get to try new foodies. Our favorite part was truly the nachos!!! And this was the start of me trying all the clam chowder the New England area has to offer- woo!

Bertucci’s Italian Restaurant

We shared the chicken alfredo pasta and it was the best decision ever. Now, the sangria… the sangria looked like lemonade and tasted like lemonade sprite. And the meatballs were the winners!!!

99 Restaurants

The potato skins were *delicioso* but read it in Dora words. I actually loved the uniqueness of the idea that they brought popcorn out before the food. You know how they usually bring bread, this restaurant brought popcorn. What an idea!

Brick Alley Pub

This was one of the most recommended spots at Bowen’s Wharf Marina. Brick Alley Pub was a cute local spot. The bruschetta was my favorite part; and also Giselle’s totem cup. I’m a sucker for the themed items in anything and everything.

Harry’s Burger and Bar

THE. BEST. BURGERS. EVER.

I couldn’t even tell you why they were our favorite because we just absolutely loved them. It was the perfect juicy meat, not too soggy bread, lots of sweet potato fries, and just an overall amazing food choice.

The Red Parrot Restaurant

We literally had to make reservations because the wait for this place was insane. We ended sitting on the first floor by the window and loved it. My sister and I ended up sharing the ribs and basically have the coursed meal.

Reason 2093489 I travel with my sister: we share food and the cost, duh.

Cosmic Pizza, Steak and Weiners

We only came for a late night snack and honestly shouldn’t have settled. The experience was definitely different, but we did it! We ate it!

I had some interesting experiences with the restaurants we chose to go to in Rhode Island. We didn’t know what to expect in any of them and went in with an open mind– which is always recommended! Our love for food trumped it all, but we made the best of the situations at hand. Always a learning experience for sure!!
