Just Mix Steak and Veggies in a Bowl
The idea of my favorite meat mixed with veggies sounded too good to be true. It honestly can’t get any healthier than protein and greens.
What you need to set up the dish:
- 2 cloves of garlic
- ½ tablespoon of pepper
- ¼ tablespoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- ½ cup of red wine vinegar
- ¼ cup of olive oil
- 1 ½ pounds of ribeye steak
Add the seasoning on the ribeye steak. Grill it for about 5-7 minutes, but make it look as good as my boyfriend did. On a separate pan, cook the vegetables and onions so they’re sautéed to your liking.
Add to the salad part:
- 1 summer squash
- 1 zucchini
- 1 small red onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 mixed greens salad bag
- seasoning: salt, pepper, or anything of your choice
How you can create this masterpiece:
Drizzle the red wine vinegar, or any other dressing, to your liking. And dinner is served!
Extremely tasty on top of the greens!!! It’s probably also the only way I’ll eat my veggies– with my favorite proteins.
