Exploring Georgia with Your Best Friend
Our favorite visit this trip was the Georgia Aquarium. It’s the only Aquarium in North America that is home to whale sharks, the largest fish in the world. It opened its doors to the public in 2005, has made the Guinness Book of World Records for having more aquatic life than any other aquarium and has had more than 18 million visitors since. It’s crazy to think that it can even hold more than 10 million gallons of water.
My friend, Emily, and I had such a blast looking at the little animals and wondering just how many there are. It’s how of thousands of animals with over 50 species being represented.
Touristy Things
We also had the opportunity to tour the CNN Headquarters in Atlanta. Exploring the tv room, where the anchors present and how everything is run was amazing. Seeing the behind the scenes really puts it into perspective since we usually just see what’s in front of the tv screen.
Georgia is such a nice state. They still experience all seasons and I absolutely love that. It was a short trip but we had a blast!
