Affordable Tips to Travel
Have you ever wondered how some people travel so much and do not know how they manage? I want to show you some affordable tips on which airfare, accommodation, and agencies I have found to be of great service. (Disclaimer: there is no ranking in the order they are placed).
AIRFARE
- Expedia – Definitely one of the most recommended/affordable ways to book flights. It also allows you to book other accommodations, such as cars, cruises, and rentals.
- Google Flights – A convenient, straight out of your Google website way to book your flights. Google offers so many resources for anything one is looking for and helps you in the easiest way possible. It also allows you to track prices and gives notifications in case your flight changes its price.
- Student Universe – I heard of this source about a year ago and booked my flights for my study abroad trip. Having researched for so long, Student Universe offered student prices (very reduced prices compared to others). If you are a student looking to travel, this is the airfare accommodation for you!
- Priceline – Lots of good deals for spontaneous travel.
- Skyscanner
ACCOMMODATION
- Airbnb – Want to live in the comfort of a local home for your trip? Airbnb offers affordable prices for any type of home and great surroundings to walk through. Experiencing Airbnb for the first time in France gave me the chills because it was such a nice and local area, everything was nearby and the apartment was close to the metro, as well!
- Hostel World – Going into the website, you get a sense of excitement for what you are about to book. Hostel World offers so many great deals, especially when each season has its peak.
AGENCY
- EF – Definitely my favorite agency by far. I may be biased because I have gone on trips with them in high school and in the university. The customer service, all the trips offered with affordable prices, tours, meeting people from all over going for the same reasons you are to new locations is all worth it. EF has not only helps with all that but also preaches its name, Education First.
With so many opportunities coming your way, do not forget to make the best out of your experiences. I know these recommendations are only some of the plenty offered, but these are the ones that have stuck out to me the most.
Always remember to grab a bite, take a ride and discover adventure!
